The Ghajnsielem Local Council has now announced the opening date for this Christmas season’s ‘Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem,’ as Saturday, the 14th of December.

The Council with the support and assistance of the Ministry for Gozo and together with the local NGOs and Ghajnsielem Parish are working together to organise this cultural festive event, which is very popular with both locals and tourists.

An action committee has been formed in order to oversee the construction and animation of the Nativity Village.

The Council said that the Nativity Village, will this year, be built on a slightly smaller scale compared to two years ago in order to ensure that all structures will be ready by December the 14th.

‘Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem’ will, as in previous editions, be animated on weekends, public holiday and on certain weekdays.

It will close on Sunday, the 5th of January 2014 with the Adoration of the Magi.
