The Police have advised a 21-year-old man from Nadur, was grievouly injured in a motorcycle accident this afternoon.

The incident, which took place at around 3.45pm, occured when the young man, who was riding a Yamaha 125, collided with a Suzuki Samurai, driven by a 23-year-old man who is also from Nadur.

The 21-year old man was taken by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital for medical treatment. He was later certified to be suffering from injuries of grievous nature.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
