The annual Inspire Walk, will once again be taking place next Saturday, the 16th of November. The walk will start at 9.30am, where everyone will meet at the Inspire premises in Marsascala.

The walk should not take longer than 2 hours and the walk will finish at the starting point, where refreshments will then be served.

The organisers said that the attendance for this activity is growing steadily and last year’s participants raised €6,635 and Inspire hope to exceed the figure this year with your help.

Inspire, The Foundation for Inclusion, is the creation of two leading voluntary organisations working in the disability sector in Malta. The Eden Foundation and Razzett tal-Hbiberija have joined forces to help over 1000 children and adults with learning and physical disabilities across our 5 centres in Malta and Gozo.

Inspire said that “their vision remains to see complete inclusion and understand the needs of our clients by working closely with the families, carers, the state and other NGOs and the community, together adding value to civil society.”

This success depends a great deal on generous contributions through various fundraising initiatives, like the Inspire Walk, which has now become a staple in our diary. Each walker is welcome to walk and make a donation, or collect funds from colleagues/friends and relatives, to support them and our organisation. All funds raised will go towards Inspire’s services.
