The Police Force remembered its departed members with Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Gozo H.L.Mgr.Mario Grech and Gozo Police Chaplain Mgr Emanuel Curmi at the Santa Marija Cemetery chapel in Victoria.

Flowers were placed on the graves by various members of the police including Police Commissioner Peter Paul Zammit, relatives and Wigi Dimech, Gozo representative of the Maltese Association of Retired Police Officers.

The celebration ended with the Last Post and a minute’s silence was observed.

Among those attending the ceremony were the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, Police Commissioner Peter Paul Zammit, Assistant Commissioner Raymond Zammit, Gozo Superintendent Antonello Grech, Police inspectors, Police cadets, representatives of police organisations and relatives.
