Over 14,000 people participated in the 5th edition of the President’s Charity Fun Run this morning, which started in sunshine and finished in a shower or rain.

People of all ages and from all walks of life took part including Members of Parliament and other dignitaries, with assistance on hand, if it was needed, from the Armed Forces of Malta and the Malta Red Cross

The seven kilometre run left from San Anton Palace, in Attard, and passed through a number of villages along the way before ending in St George Square, Valletta.

The Fun Run was held, in collaboration with the Malta Amateur Athletic Association. It is supported by the Ministry for Health, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing and Valletta European Capital of Culture 2018.

Banif Bank Malta once sponsored the Fun Run, which last year saw around 14,000 people participate in aid of L-Istrina.
