Readers Letter – “On Sunday about 47 cyclists rode with Gregory on the lovely ride he organised to raise funds for the Santa Rita Home.

We all started in Rabat and went on a route that ended up at Al’Fresco Restaurant in Birzebbuga to eat and meet the kids and nuns. It was nice to see these happy kids. In total we collected the amount of 5,424 euro for Santa Rita Home and the 18 kids who live there.

I wish there had been some Gozitans participating in the ride, but hopefully next year they can join us. Good job Matt (a 16-yr-old Maltese rider who was in Gozo for the weekend and rode from Qala to Rabat to Birzebbuga and all the way back to Qala)- impressive!!

We need more youths like him to improve healthy life living. I want to see more Gozitans to participance on event like this or other events.

I am all open to any idea so we can make it happen call me at 99609845 or Facebook Gozo-Greyhounds Youth Athletic Club.

If anyone would still like to send a donation, please do so, to Santa Rita Ursuline Home Tarxien Malta.”
