St. Theresa College 24th annual charity students fun run netted €9,620

For the twenty fourth consecutive year, the students of St. Theresa College Girls’ Secondary collected monetary donations in conjunction with Voluntary groups.

The students did a lot to encourage people to donate monetary contributions towards charity in aid of Inspire Foundation, Caritas (Malta), Cystic Fibrosis Trust, ‘Piccola casa di San Giuzeppe’ and the school benevolent fund, with the wonderful sum of €9,620 collected.

Inspire Fondation benefited from €3150, Caritas (Malta) €2250, Cystic Fibrosis Trust €1800, ‘Piccola casa di San Giuzeppe’ €900, E.F.R.U. €100 and the School Benevolent fund €900.

Special thanks have to go to the St.Theresa College Secondary School Mriehel administration, teachers, students, College Principal and the complementary Primary and Secondary schools. St. Michael Foundation School of San Gwann contributed with a very welcome donation of over €245 along with other contributions from college primary and secondary schools.

The School Development group of teachers organised a Charity Concert, Fun Fair and conducted this FUNRUN event to a successful end on Friday 29th November 2013 presentation ceremony along with a host of guests, singers and dancers.
