On the Sunday before Christmas a beautiful Concert for the festive season entertained an appreciative audience in Independence Square, Victoria.
The concert, which was organised by the Gozo Cultural Council, saw the participation of various choral groups from Gozo, with carol singing which was accompanied by young upcoming musicians on violins, organs and other light instruments. 
The climax of the evening’s concert was the the Nazzarenu Church youth drama group, from Xaghra, who came to Independence Square in full force with orchestra, choir and costumes.
Among the young participants were the Fjur tal-Margerita choir of Sannat, the Fjur t’Assisi choir of the Capuchin’s Friary of Victoria, the Gozo School of Music students and the recently founded choir from St George’s Basilica, the Piccole Stelle choir.
