Changes to fuel and LPG prices effective for the next for 3 months

Enemalta has announced that the prices of petrol, kerosene, and gas oil for heating are to rise from from today, Wednesday, the 1st of January 2014, with the new prices, as well as that of diesel, locked until the end of March 2014.
The statement by Enemalta said that as announced in the Budget, the price of unleaded petrol increased by 1c whilst the price of diesel remained unchanged.

Enemalta said that the “Price’ reflects the prices fetched by Enemalta for the latest shipments of imported fuel.
Meanwhile Liquigas has also announced that it has “managed to secure the price of LPG in cylinders from 1st January 2014 till the end of March 2014. This is in line with the request by the Malta Resources Authority (MRA) to achieve price stability, and following the establishment of a stable price for the period October 2013 till December 2013.”
The new prices effective as from Wednesday 1st January until Monday 31st March 2014, will be as follows:
LPG Mix Consumers Price including VAT for January to March 2014:
12 kg Cylinder €19.20
15 kg Cylinder €24.00
