Xaghra Scout Group recently held its 5th Annual General Meeting at l-Azzjoni Kattolika, Xaghra, which was very well attended by members and their families. Xaghra Mayor Joe Cordina was present for the event and gave a short talk to mark the occasion.

During the meeting four new leaders were invested as Scouts in the World Scout Movement and welcomed in the Xaghra Scout Group – Marvic Sultana, Fabian Galea, Brandon Azzopardi and Diane Sultana.

In May 2008 Xaghra Scout Group was reactivated and that was the start of an amazing journey. The group is made up of 3 sections: the beaver colony, the cub pack and the scout troop between the ages of 5 and 15 and made up of both male and female.
