This weekend Gozo will be in Carnival mood, many visitors will be crossing over to the sister island for this very popular weekend on Gozo’s entertainment calendar.

Arkadia has said that to cater for increased demand and offer extended convenience, shops in its Commercial Centre in Victoria will have extended opening hours up to 10.00pm on Friday, the 28th of February and again on Saturday, the 1st of March 2014.

The Arkadia Foodstore will also offer the extended opening hours and, shoppers will have the opportunity to take advantage of the annual ‘Breakfast2Go’ promotion.

Extended opening hours for McDonald’s at the Arkadia Commercial Centre, mean that it will be opening throughout the night (24 hours) on Friday, the 28th of February and Saturday, the 1st of March 2014. McDonald’s will also be opening up to 2.00am on Sunday evening, the 2nd of March, leading to Monday.

Arkadia said that it augurs the best of luck to all individuals participating in the Gozo carnival adding that “the Gozo carnival would certainly not be a possibility without the priceless time and dedication of the many volunteers and enthusiasts who proudly participate every year.”
