Gozo: The Land and its Archaeology - A Heritage Malta TourHeritage Malta are organising a tour at the end of this month – ‘Gozo: The Land and its Archaeology,’ which they describe as “a tour for all the senses.”

First stop is Ta’ Mena Estate, a working farm, followed by food tasting. Then to Xaghra Circle (generally closed to the public), a prehistoric underground burial complex. The tour will give participants an insight into the funerary practices of our Neolithic ancestors and explain the archaeological significance of this unique site.

This will be followed by a curator-led tour of Ggantija Temples and the newly inaugurated Interpretation Centre.

This special tour is taking place on Sunday, the 30th of March, the price is: HM Members €20; Non-Members €25; Children 6-12 years €10; under 6 Free. The price does not include the ferry for those crosssing from Malta.

The coach departs from Mgarr Harbour at 1.15pm and returns to Mgarr Harbour at 7.00pm.
