In the wake of the great number of trails observed over Malta’s skies in the last few days, the Gaia Foundation said in a statement that it is “calling upon airline companies flying over Malta’s airspace to declare unequivocally whether or not some of their airliners are involved in some forms of geo engineering tests or exercises over Maltese airspace, with a view to affect climatic conditions.”
“For some time now the cloud formations being left by some aircraft have caused great consternation and worry amongst a large number of people in several countries. Many years ago the contrails left by aircraft would disappear within seconds.”
Gaia pointed out that “today some of these trails hang in the sky for several hours, leading to cloud formation, and could even be seen covering huge areas and forming massive clouds on satellite images.”
“Many times planes have been seen actually switching these trails on and off, creating even more suspicion of some intentional acts of commission,” the Foundation said.
“The engineering of clouds to manipulate climate is a reality and has been recognised by the scientific community and geo engineers in particular as a possibility for many years. It also exists in the policy documents of some nations, as well as in several registered patents. Yet the public is unaware of any information as to whether a form of geo engineering is taking place in and around our skies, and if so, what chemicals are being used,” said Gaia.
The Foundation stated, “whether or not the concerns of the public are well founded, the airline industry is under obligation to act with the utmost transparency and accountability, and air traffic regulators have an obligation to investigate, to provide all the related environmental information in line with the principles of the Aarhus Convention, which have become part of European Law.”
“The Maltese population is owed an explanation as to how the trail formations like those seen recently in the sky, could take place.” The Gaia Foundation said, it will therefore be “lodging a formal request with the Transport and the Environment Authorities to investigate the incidents, and to ask the airlines flying over and around Maltese airspace to provide all the necessary information to establish the nature and reason for the said trail/cloud formations.”
The Foundation concluded by saying that it has meanwhile been carrying out its own investigations with a view to making proposals for more thorough policies and regulations to ensure that Malta’s skies remain free of any form of geo engineering carried out by foreign corporations. It will also be relaying its findings to the said Authorities to assist them in their investigations.
This phenomenon has been happening all over the world for a dozen of years.

Contrails are lines of ice crystals which form behind the engines of high flying aircraft. There were considered a big problem for aircraft during WW2 as they highlight the presence of an aircraft – then probably an enemy bomber! To avoid them the aircraft would either climb above the critical temperature/humidity layer if possible or descend and possibly be sighted. Nowadays flight levels are strictly controlled and allocated so that aircraft can fly safely so more contrails are observed – but in the interests of flight safety. The amount of visible trails just shows how busy the airways are – in this case over Malta, hopefully bringing in more tourists. It is true that scientists have been developing chemicals to seed the air to produce clouds and thus make it rain, but this has nothing to do with the lines in the sky. Before any stupid – sorry a bit strong – silly, claims are made it would be best to talk to a meteorologist!
It is alarming that Malta is now also subjected to Chemtrails. The chemical compounds that are scattered in the air land in our waters and on our soil, poison our fish and our food, pollute the air we breathe – in short makes us all sick, particularly the young and fragile. “Chemtrails are said to consist of tiny particles of harmful toxins like Aluminum and Barium, -there is a potential link to increased rates of Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and more as a result of the spraying”.There is much documented proof that this whacky project to prevent the suns rays getting through to Earth causes damage and has not been well thought out. Malta is a crossing point for aircraft flying from Northern Europe to Africa and North East Africa to the Middle East and the air corridors are busy. These aircraft typically fly at between 35,000-38,000 feet and naturally create these contrails. Look at http://www.flightradar24.com to see exactly how busy our sky’s are. Francis is right, there isn’t anything strange here.
