A Meditation of the Way of the Cross (Via Sagra) is taking place at Ta’ Ghammar Hill, which is located in front of the Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary at Gharb, as tradition on the 5th Sunday of Lent, which this year is the 6th of April, starting at 6.30pm.

The Via Sagra is to be led by H.E. Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo together with the participation of the Chaplain, a priest, the faithful from the Diocese of Gozo and also from that of Malta.

The Meditations will be based on the speeches and homilies of Pope Francis, and are printed in a booklet called ‘The Way of Love’, which is available from Ta ‘Pinu at the price of € 1.

The singing is to be animated by the Stella Maris Choir under the direction of Carmel P. Grech. The Via Sagra will be broadcast live on Radju Marija.

Everyone is invited to participate in this special event and to take with them a red candle.
