On Tuesday, Form 1 Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary students cleaned the parking area near the school premises in Victoria, as well as plant some trees as part of the ‘Cleaner and Greener Gozo’ Campaign.

The Ministry for Gozo launched the campaign in March, entitled ‘A Greener and Cleaner Gozo’ with the aim of encouraging key players in Gozo’s community to contribute towards a better environment.

The students collected a total of 80 kilos of rubbish during Tuesday’s clean up.

The school said that “instilling this awareness in our students, enables them to start caring for their environment at a young age.”
