Petrol and gas prices prices reduced and frozen

During a press conference held at the Castille this morning, the Minister for Energy and Health, Konrad Mizzi has announced that the price of fuel will be a fixed for the next eight months.
The current price of petrol will be reduced by 2c and the current price of diesel will remain the same, both of these prices will be frozen until the end of December.
With the price fixed for the following eight months, the petrol price will now be reduced to 1.44c per litre, whilst the price of diesel will remain unchanged at 1.36c per litre.
The Minister also announced that there will be substantial discounts on the price of gas, a 12kg gas cylinder will now reduced by €1.30c to €17.10c from the previous price of €18.40c and a 15kg gas cylinder will now cost €21.40c, these prices will be frozen until the end of September.
