The annual hill climb car races are to be held once again in Xaghra. This event is being organised by the Island Car Club and will take place on Saturday the 17th and Sunday, the 18th of May.

Saturday’s event will be held between 2pm and 6pm while Sunday’s event will be held between 8am and 3pm.

The Xaghra Local Council has advised that the main entry to the village, i.e. 8th September Avenue, will be closed during these races. The public is kindly being requested to use the entrances from Mielha Street, Ghajn Damma Street, San Marzjal Street and Sellum Street.
