On Thursday evening at the Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady, Xaghra, Alexander Frey gave an organ recital, which included various works including the Franck Choral.
Alexander Frey, who is from the USA, was warmly received by the appreciative audience at the Basilica. The concert, ‘Pipes in a Basilica,’ took place as part of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music
Alexander is a pianist, conductor and organist besides being a Billboard Classical Music Chart Top 10 Artist.
He has recorded for major labels including Deutsche Grammophon and Decca whilst performing with orchestra such as the Berlin Philharmonic.
Frey was the Principal Conductor of the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra whilst juggling a busy schedule around the globe.
