This coming Saturday, the 7th of June, The Emergency Response and Rescue Corps of Gozo, will once again organising a Blood Drive, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and Arkadia Commercial Centre in Victoria, Gozo.

Blood donation is sometimes taken for granted or ignored. The more blood donors that turn up on the day, the better.

When donating blood people are helping others and having the chance to help save lives.

The ERRC encourages all the general public to attend and donate blood.

Persons between 18 and 63 years are eligible to donate blood. People aged 17 need the consent of their parent or guardian.

This blood donation session will take place between 8.30am and 1.00pm.

It is important that anyone wishing to donate blood should take their ID card with them.
