Malta Public Transport will be operating a special bus service on June 25th for the benefit of all commuters who will be attending this year’s Isle of MTV concert, held as customary at the Granaries in Floriana.
On the night of the event, direct buses will be available from Valletta to all localities starting from 2300hrs until 0130hrs when the last buses leave the station. Direct buses will leave from Valletta Bus Terminus frequently depending on demand.
Tickets for the special bus services cost €3 for the entire day (that is, including unlimited day services on June 25th) and can be bought from ticket booths in Valletta, Bugibba, University, Sliema and the airport, as well as bus-ticket sellers around the island, from Friday 6th June.

On the night, Malta Public Transport will also be operating extended hour at the Floriana Park and Ride, with the mini-bus services operating frequent trips to Valletta Bus Terminus in the evening. Normal rates of €0.40 per vehicle will apply, including return transport for the driver and passengers.
Malta Public Transport urges patrons to use public transport to attend this event, thus avoiding the congestion and parking problems that normally affect such large-scale events on our islands.
