The seventh theme for the monthly DOI photo competition is ‘Summer Fun in Malta.’ Participants are encouraged to submit photos portraying summer life in Malta.

Photographs of all the various Maltese summer fun activities can be submitted for a chance to win €1000.

Individuals aged 14 and over are invited to participate by uploading photos on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #malta, #doicompetition and #summerfun.

Photos submitted through Facebook need to be posted on the Department of Information (Malta) Facebook page. All submitted photos will be judged by a professional panel and one winner will receive a €1000 prize.

Photos are to be uploaded by the 31st of August.

During the month of July, the Department of Information received around 500 entries through the various social media channels.
