A 14 month old toddler is in critical condition a fall in San Lawrenz, Gozo.
The Police said that preliminary investigations revealed that the boy fell about three feet in a residence and suffered serious injuries.
The boy, an American, was transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.
The Police said that they were informed about the case today at about 10.00am by the Gozitan health authorities.
Duty Magistrate Dr P Coppini LLD appointed an inquiry into the case.
Police investigations are ongoing.
