Police seize 240 protected birds from a residence in Mgarr

Following the discovery of over four hundred protected birds at the Malta International Airport on the 23rd of July 2014.
Investigations carried out by the Police (ALE) together with officers from MEPA continued this week, in a residence in Mgarr, Malta
The Police said that five hundred and seventy five birds were inspected. Two hundred and forty of these resulted to be protected birds and were seized.
