The Gozo Horse Racing Association, which administers ta’ Xhajma complex at Xewkija, is organising a Pre-Season Meeting, on Sunday the 14th of September, starting at 3.00pm.

There will be Pony and Trotting Races, including Challenge Cups at the Xhajma Race Track, Gozo.

Challenge Cups:

· Trotting Classes: Premier & Gold – Winner € 1,000

· Trotting Classes: Silver, Bronze & Copper – € 800

· 2 Challenge Cups for Ponies – € 250 each

· Other Races: Shetland Races & Donkey Races

Subscription:

· Trotters – € 50 · Ponies – € 25 · Shetland Ponies & Donkeys – € 15

Registrations for these races will be accepted on the 20th, 21st, 27th and the 28th of August 2014, between 4pm and 6pm. at the office of the Gozo Horse Racing Association, Xhajma Race Track.

Registrations could be terminated early in case the maximum number of races is achieved.

The Association said that these races are NOT part of the Regular Season to start later on in September.
