Architecture in Malta: September's theme for the DOI photo competitionThe eighth theme for the monthly DOI photo competition is “Architecture in Malta”. Malta boasts a wide array of architectural styles. Some structures, like the Prehistoric Temples were planned by unknown masters; others like the Mosta Rotunda by the renowned Grognet. Both are known all over the world. Participants are invited to submit photographs featuring all facets of architecture in Malta.

Individuals aged 14 and over are invited to participate by uploading photos on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #malta, #doicompetition and #architecturemalta. Photos submitted through Facebook need to be posted on the Department of Information (Malta) Facebook page. All submitted photos will be judged by a professional panel and one winner will receive a €1000 prize.

Photos are to be uploaded between the 1st and 30th of September, both days included.

During the month of August, the Department of Information received around 400 entries through the various social media channels.

Further information can be found on www.gov.mt.
