The Ministry of Energy and Health has announced that the price of the 12kg gas cylinder, the most popular size, has been increased to €18.
The policy of price stability will continue, the Ministry said, as the price is set to be fixed until December 2014.
“The policy of price stability helps to boost businesses and aid families, with reductions in electricity tariffs and water for families last March and discounts for businesses in March 2015, as was promised,” the Ministry said.
“The prices of petrol and diesel will also remain fixed until December 2014 as had been announced in recent months.”
The Ministry of Energy and Health thanked Liquigas for its cooperation, and the Malta Resources Authority for its work.
