Students, staff and parents of Gozo College San Lawrenz Primary spent a day in Malta last week.
The trip started with educational visits to two Nature Reserves. While the Kinder to Year 4 pupils visited the Simar Nature Reserve, the Years 5 and 6 classes went to the Ghadira Nature Reserve.
The Dija Wahda teachers in charge of the reserves gave enjoyable talks and showed the groups around. During the walks they also had the opportunity to observe nature, including some bird-watching with binoculars provided by the reserve staff.
The group then took the coach to Sliema, where they enjoyed a cruise around Marsamxett and Grand Harbour with the chance to observe closely and hear about the historical cities and places that they passed.
The school said that “it was truly an educational and enjoyable experience for everyone!”

Well done to the head of Saint Lawrenz, teachers, Parents that helped out to do what kids needs some times in life. I do believe as a parent of 3 that once a month kids with parents would need to do Hikes in the Country side and talk about what we all have around us and what God created for us and how importance to save what God gave us. Thank you for given a chance to this kids.
