Yesterday’s Gozo-Rocks hike, organised by Louis Debattista of the Gozo Grehounds Sports Club, produced a great turn-out of people, with some new faces: a Maltese family with 2 kids, an English couple with Amy their dog from Xaghra and a Scottish person, who is a newcomer to Gozo.Gozo-Rocks hike enjoyed by a good crowd of people, second hike on TuesdayLouise said, “we also had the two American families and the kids from Qala. The weather was perfect for the afternoon. I am hoping to see more local Gozo kids and their parents will come to do some exercise by walking in the country side or by the water.”Gozo-Rocks hike enjoyed by a good crowd of people, second hike on Tuesday“We were accompanied part of the way by Alain, who took some photographs of the hike along the way!”

“So Gozo, get up and start moving! Parents have to be first and not just send their kids with us; I would love to see entire families spend some quality time with us and with their kids,” said Alain.

On Tuesday, the 4th of November, there will another hike is for everyone: kids, families, dogs, cats, anyone! We will start at 9.00am from close to the Saint Joseph’s Home, near to the Roundabout of Fort Chambray in Ghajnsielem.

“Cars can be parked close to the Saint Joseph’s Hostel (San Guzepp) – we will do a loop and come back to the cars. It’s free- so come out and get some exercise and meet some new friends!”
