A Fundraising Concert featuring trumpet and organ is to be held at the National Sanctuary of Ta’ Pinu, next Saturday, the 15th and Sunday, the 16th of November.

The concert is in aid of the Parking Area Project next to the Sanctuary, now in its final phase of construction.

Two Gozitan musicians will be taking part: Jason Camilleri on the trumpet and Amy Rapa on the organ, joined by British musician Paul Thomas also on the trumpet. The concert will include musical selections from great composers such as Vivaldi, Manfredini, Albinoni, Stanley and others, as well as the Ave Maria and Last Post in remembrance of the departed benefactors of the Sanctuary.

On Saturday, the concert will start at 11.00am for the benefit of tourists visiting the Basilica, while on Sunday, it will be at 6.00pm.

Entrance is free, however donations for the project are kindly solicited.
