Enemalta receives the first €2.5 million payment from ElectroGas consortium

The Government has said that in the last hours the first payment has been received by Enemalta as part of the €30 million from the ElectroGas consortium.
The payment of €2.5 million is the first instalment of twelve that the consortium have to pay Enemalta over a twelve month period.
The Government said that this payment is part of Enemalta’s financial plan. A plan that will not only strengthen Enemalta, but also enabled utility bills to be lowered for families last March, while this coming March there will be a reduction for businesses.
