MEP Alfred Sant has visited the Nativity Village – Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem, Gozo where he was given a tour around by Frans Cauchi, the Mayor of Ghajnsielem, Mr. Frans Ciangura and Luigi Landi, Mayor of Tolfo, which has during the last few years been reciprocating cultural initiatives with the village of Ghajnsielem.

Dr. Sant lauded these initiatives, including the displays of cribs across the island, which are attracting the attention of thousands of Maltese and foreign visitors who cross over from Malta to Gozo during the Christmas period, to admire the artistic and technical skills of Gozitans.

The MEP also toured other cribs around Gozo, organised by individual families and societies in Victoria, Nadur, Xewkija and Xaghra.
