The Malta-EU Steering & Action Committee (MEUSAC) has assisted two Gozitan entities to acquire EU LEADER funds.
The Gozo NGOs Association has acquired the funds to implement its project ‘Ghawdex Benniena ta’ Drawwiet.’
This project mainly consisting of an exhibition, two parades and a live musical and folk performance, the project will bring together Gozitan NGOs working in the filed of culture and heritage.
The Gozitan folk group Ta’ Cangura has also acquired LEADER funds, and these will be used to implement its project ‘Mela Darba.’
Based on the folk tales penned by the late Gozitan author and poet Gorg Pisani, the project will consist of activities promoting Gozo’s cultural heritage.
