Gozo Live, in collaboration with Gozo College, is once again running a writing participation to promote creative and imaginative writing. To this end students are invited to participate in a writing event which may culminate in the reading of entries from the different schools at various school events.
Students can participate in two categories:
WRITING ENTRIES
Entries in the form of short stories, poems or essays on any subject are required in either Maltese or English.
DRAMA ENTRIES
Short plays written either in English or Maltese and performed by groups of students are required. Students will be invited to perform their plays.
The closing date for all entries is the 16th of October 2015. The organisers suggest that entries be submitted as soon as possible.
Entries can be neatly hand written or typed. They can be emailed to gozolive2018@gmail.com or posted to Gozo Live Writing Event, Casa Papillon, 21A Gnien Xibla Street, Xaghra, Gozo XRA 2400.
If no acknowledgement is received please contact gozolive2018@gmail.com. Teachers are kindly asked to support the students in submitting their entries.
A selection of the works produced will be considered for inclusion in a 2015 edition of Young Writers of Gozo to be made available towards the end of 2015.
If there are any queries please contact Barbara Day on gozolive2018@gmail.com.
