As part of the events for Public Service Week 2015, the Gozo General Hospital, will be holding an Open Day, this coming Sunday, the 25th of January, between 10.00am and 3.00pm.

Visitors to the hospital will be able to look round the Medical Imaging Department, the Hyperbaric Chamber and the Day Care Unit.

There will be the opportunity to donate blood, during sessions being held in the Out Patients Department of the hospital.

Staff will also be available to check blood sugar levels and take blood pressure readings for anybody who is interested.

Hospital workers will be on site to answer any questions from the public on the work and services provided by this hospital.

This Open Day will be of interest to anyone who would like to know more about the work of the General Hospital in Gozo, those who are thinking of starting employment in healthcare and Pupils/Students who are on healthcare courses.

Entrance is free of charge.
