A Pyjama Day in aid of the Puttinu Cares Foundation, was held by Gozo College Primary School in Victoria, known as the ‘Happy School.’

Children were allowed to attend school in their pyjamas and were asked to donate €1 or more to show solidarity towards sick children in hospital.

The students were very enthusiastic and they all enjoyed the special day. Pupils from the fifth and sixth grades danced and sang during the school’s morning assembly and prayed for a sick Gozitan boy who attended the event.

Artist Steve Mifsud of Qala, who is also raising funds for the Foundation, was present and created a dog made out of recycled metal.

Gozo College Principal Victor Galea attended the activity, which raised the sum of €679. 19c.
