The Astra Theatre in Victoria, Gozo is showing Sawl, a Maltese play which allows the audience to get to know the real Sawl/Paul of Tarsus intimately. Written by Alfred Palma and directed by Zep Camilleri, with Mario Micallef delivering his controversial Sawl/Paul monologues.

He turned his back on paganism, turned to Christianity, changed his name, delivered Christianity to a number of different places, including Malta…but how much do you really know about St Paul?

After a successful run at the St James Cavalier in Valletta, there is now a chance to see Sawl in Gozo, on Saturday, the 21st of February, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased at a cost of €10 each, from the La Stella Band Club or Vajringa Supermarket.
