Heritage Malta is offering children in Gozo a hands-on educational event – L-Ghagina tan-Nanna – to be held within the unique setting of Ta’ Kola Windmill in Xaghra on Monday, the 16th and Tuesday, the 17th of February, between 9.30am and 12.00pm

Participants will be given a short tour of the Windmill followed by a session of traditional pastry making. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to each participant, together with traditional pastry recipes to try at home.

Children may come in fancy dress including traditional costumes. Heritage Malta said that the recommended age is 9 to 13 years.

Heritage Malta said that participants will be given a free copy of its latest publication for children, ‘L-ewwel 35 miljun sena ta’ Hajti,’ worth €5.00.
