Air Malta gas said that it will be operating its three flights to Italy today despite an Air Traffic Control strike notice which caused disruptions to air travel across the country.

The strike notice announced for today will affect KM612/3 to Rome, KM624/5 to Milan and KM642/3 to Catania.

Air Malta said that it will now operate these flights soon after the ATC strike is over.

The airline’s flights to these cities will today operate as follows (all timings are local):

KM612 Dep Malta 1800 Arr Rome 1930

KM613 Dep Rome 2020 Arr Malta 2230

KM624 Dep Malta 1800 Arr Milan 2000

KM625 Dep Milan 2050 Arr Malta 2250

KM642 Dep Malta 1735 Arr Catania 1820

KM643 Dep Catania 1910 Arr Malta 1955

A spokesman for the airline said that “Air Malta puts its clients first and made the above arrangements to minimise disruptions to its passengers. Unlike other airlines operating on the Malta route, Air Malta did not cancel any flights.”

He added that in such situations the airline does its utmost to maintain a reliable schedule and minimise inconveniences to its customers.
