The Tour Ta’ Malta 2015, organised by the Malta Cycling Federation gets underway tomorrow, with the 21st edition of this international cycling race established in 1990, which takes place in Malta and Gozo, spread over 4 consecutive days, 1 stage per day.
The race kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, with an individual time trial of 25km at the St Paul’s Bay Bypass. at 9.30am.
The next stage on Friday, consists of a 100km/ 60km road race on the San Martin Circuit, starting at 10.00am
Then on Saturday, the participants go to Nadur, Gozo where a 60km road race takes place, between 10.00am and 1.00pm, during this time Transport Malta said that Triq ir-Rabat, between Triq tad-Duru and the roundabout will be closed to vehicular traffic. Vehicles proceeding to Nadur will be diverted onto Triq L-Imgarr
The race will be 12 laps Elite and 8 laps Masters and Ladies.
The final stage of the Tour Ta Malta on Sunday, is a 12km road race at the Ta’ Pinellu circuit in the outskirts of Valletta, Malta’s Capital City, starting at 9.30am.
