“When are we going to see an end to the traffic chaos caused by the closure of Independence Square?
For six months now we have suffered the delays and frustration of having to use the alternative routes, none of which are able to cope with the volume of traffic currently using them.
What will happen at Easter when half of Malta descends upon us and I shudder to think of the start of the main tourist season, will any of us be able to get anywhere?
I would be interested to hear a response from the Victoria Council.”
Yours most sincerely

I couldn’t agree more. The place is in complete chaos, the trees have been killed off, the traders are losing money and have nowhere to go and the tourist season is nearly upon us. A complete shambles
Victoria, Xaghra and Nadur squares all being dug up….progress?
Yes progress !
What do you mean progress for you ?
Looking better today when I saw it though I doubt the trees will survive. There seems to be an intention to replant though
