Over the past few weeks Melita said that it has completed the installation of more high-speed Melita Wi-Fi zones in Gozo’s busiest areas.
The company said that this is a free service available for Melita customers. The new outdoor Wi-Fi zones cover the Mgarr Harbour area as well as some of the main areas of Victoria.
Melita customers having a mobile subscription on contract or an internet subscription receive free access to this next generation Wi-Fi service. Users login once and receive immediate access thereafter to Melita’s outdoor and indoor Wi-Fi. Logging in is quick and easy, through the MyMelita login details or a Melita mobile number.
There are currently more than 20 outdoor zones covering areas in Valletta, the Sliema-St-Julian’s promenade, Gzira, Mosta, Paola and Birzebbuga amongst others, Melita said.
In addition, the service also includes around 50,000 indoor Wi-Fi hotspots spread across all Malta and Gozo.
Throughout the coming months Melita said that it will continue rolling out more Melita Wi-Fi outdoor zones covering more of the country’s busiest squares, promenades and other public places.
