‘The Innovation Challenge: Go Green’ is a competition aimed at people aged between 17 and 30 who are interested in issues related to environmental sustainability.

This is a competition for young people to identify an environmental problem that affects the Maltese Islands and come up with a green innovation solution to this problem. Finalists will be featured in a publication and the winners will be awarded a trip overseas related to environmental innovation.

A workshop is being held on Wednesday 8th April 2015 from 10.00 to 13.00 at TAKEOFF Business Incubator, University of Malta, to help participants prepare their submission for the competition.

This workshop includes guidelines on how to identify relevant problems and solutions, therefore, young people who would like to participate in the competition but do not yet have a clear idea in mind are encouraged to attend.

Participation is FREE of charge, but a reservation must be made via email to leonie.baldacchino@um.edu.mt.

This competition is a joint initiative between Agenzija Zghazagh and The Edward de Bono Institute for the Design and Development of Thinking, University of Malta, in collaboration with TAKEOFF Business Incubator.

Further information is available on the website of Agenzija Zghazagh (www.agenzijazghazagh.gov.mt) and on ‘The Innovation Challenge: Go Green’ Facebook page.
