The JP2 Foundation, together with ‘Fondazzjoni Santa Cecilia,’ is organising 2 concerts in collaboration with the Local Councils of Gharb and Hamrun.
The concerts are being held as part of the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the historical visit of Saint John Paul II to the island of Gozo.
The first concert will take place in Blata l-Bajada Church Hamrun on Thursday, the 7th of May, then on Friday, the 8th May, a second concert will be held in Gharb Basilica, both concerts starting at 8.00pm.
The concerts will feature the Santa Cecilia Choir, with the participation of soloists Rosabella Pavia, Patricia Buttigieg, Marthese Borg and Mario Portelli, under the musical direction of Mro. Antoine Mercieca.
The public are cordially invited to attend.
