78 AFM recruits yesterday took part in a 27km Marathon walk, carrying 6 logs along the coast from Spinola Bay to the Three cities.
Each log weighed 50 kilogrammes, and the aim of the event was to encourage people to donate money for Puttinu as part of the annual football marathon.
The initative called ‘Logs and Miles 4 Puttinu,’ raised €16,477 through sponsorships and donations collected along the route.
