The Europe Direct Information Centre – Gozo, in collaboration with the European Union Programme Agency, is organising an informative session regarding great opportunities from which one can benefit from the EU Programme Erasmus+. The session is targeting youths, in preparation for the 1st of October deadline.
Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014 – 2020. The main aim of this funding programme is to boost skills and employability, and modernise education, training and youth work. Erasmus+ follows on the same line of the past programme, Youth in Action.
Are you interested in learning how you can benefit from this programme? In preparation for the October 1st Erasmus+ Youth Sector deadline, an information session is being organised on Tuesday, the 2nd of June, 2015 at the NGO Centre in Xewkija at 10.00am, which will be addressed by Ms Rebecca Borg from the European Union Programme Agency (EUPA)
The info session will focus on the:
• Explanation of the Erasmus+ funding programme to get participants oriented towards the eventual compilation of an application form;
• An insight about the quality criteria expected from the projects under the E+ programme (Youth Sector);
• Familiarisation and clarifications of application;
• understanding the internal process of what goes on when the application is handed to EUPA
This information session targets all sectors of the public and for all young people, people who work in the youth field, educational staff and all those who are interested.
“For those who already have an idea for a project in Mobility, Youth Exchange or European Voluntary service, this is your chance.”
During the session, publications in connection with Erasmus+ programme will be distributed.
To register for this session, kindly send an email on edic@europedirectgozo.org or call on 2156 3389, Monday to Friday from 8.00am to midday.
