Activities are currently being organised by the JP2 Foundation to mark the 25th anniversary of the historical visit made by Saint John Paul II to the Maltese Islands.

The Attard Local Council, in collaboration with the JP2 Foundation and the Attard Parish Church, is presenting a commemorative concert by a Trio from the Cordia String Quartet.

Attard was the locality that hosted His Holiness on His three day pastoral visit in May 1990.

The event will take place on Monday, the 25th of May, at the Assumption of Our Lady Parish Church, Attard, starting at 7.30pm.

The General Public is invited to attend.
