On Tuesday morning, Form 3 students from schools in Gozo, took part in a ‘Walk for Life.’ Starting near the Monument of Pope John Paul II in Victoria, they continued to the Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary.
All the students wore special t-shirts and carried a purple balloon, stating ‘Life is Precious.’
This was followed by a Celebration of the Word of God led by Bishop Mario Grech, who on the same day was celebrating 31 years as a priest.
Tuesday, the 26th of May, was the 25th anniversary of the historic visit made by Saint John Paul II to Gozo, as part of his visit to the Maltese Islands.
