‘Il-Kuntratt tal-Istatwa Titulari ta’ San Gorg tar-Rabat Ghawdex,’ is the title of a new book being launched tomorrow, Saturday, the 18th of July.

This book, which was researched and written by Anthony Farrugia, analyses the recent discovery by the author, of the contract for the commissioning of the statue of St George, sculpted in wood by Mastro Pietro Paolo Azzopardi in 1838.

The book launch will take place at the Mons. Giuseppe Farrugia Hall, St. George Basilica, Victoria, Gozo, at 11.00am. Everyone is invited to attend

The book will be for sale, and a book-signing session will follow.
