The Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo has officially opened an exhibition which has on display publications featuring the Great Siege of Malta and the Order of Saint John.

The numerous documents on display at the 1565 Exhibition are all linked with the historical event of the Great Siege, as well as the history of the Order of the Knights of St John.This event is being organised as part of the programme of commemorations taking place across the islands marking the 450th anniversary of the Great Siege of Malta.

The is being held at the National Library (Gozo), Vajringa Street, Victoria and will remain open to the public until the 7th of September, during library hours.
