The Government in a statement today has said that in the first two years of this administration, there was an increase of almost 12 750 full time jobs. “This means that, in two years, there was an increase of 1,500 jobs, more than that observed over the full five years of the previous administration.”
“Among the most to benefit from the improvement in the labour market were the Gozitans, with an increase of 800 full-time jobs.” The Government added that, ” In Gozo the daily growth in employment is six times higher than that observed during the five years of the previous administration.”
While welcoming these positive results, the Government said that in the coming months it will be carrying out new measures to create more opportunities for Maltese and Gozitan families.
